I used the black and white option and pushed the color levels around until it looked like a charcoal drawing.

Hey Amanda, your choices are interesting and effective - I'd also love to see a straight conversion (without the drawing like effects - just so I can feel confident that you're comfortable with the tools. Don't bother to repost - I get what you're doing, but consider posting both stages of the transformation next time.
